In the second half of September, the Women4IT partners were supposed to meet in a charming town of Drammen, Norway, to discuss the development of the project in its peak phase. Little did we know that a global pandemic and its consequences would turn our plans upside down.
Luckily, just as our initiative, the Women4IT team is incredibly dynamic and adapts to the needs of its requirements. No matter the current obstacles, we quickly shifted our plans and conducted our Transnational Partner Meeting nonetheless, and for the very first time – online. Why? Because we are dedicated to drive our initiative forward.
The two online days – 8-9 September 2020 – kept us at least as busy as a face-to-face meeting would have, and that is because some great initiatives are just about to be launched. Check them out:
Digital skills training programmes to launch in 7 European countries
September is a busy month for 7 piloting countries – Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania and Spain – as they are all kicking off their localised training programmes for specific digital job profiles. The best part? The trainings are designed in a fully innovative and personalised way, and they are completely free of charge!
