“With more women in STEM, we all win.”
Olay’s #DecodetheBias campaign was launched to combat hidden bias in beauty algorithms, also coinciding with #NationalCodingWeek.
Teaming up with Joy Buolamwini, a pioneer for algorithmic justice, OlaySkin have launched the campaign to send at least 1000 young women of colour to coding camps, with the potential to send up to 200 more for every use of #DecodetheBias.
#DecodetheBias builds on Olay’s commitment to doubling the number of women and tripling the number of women of colour in STEM by 2030.
As champions of women in technology striving to promote digital skills training and raising awareness about the gender gap in tech, we are thrilled to see this inclusive initiative come to life and bring more diverse female talent into the sector.
